The Hertford Symphony Orchestra has grown and
developed hugely in the approximately fifty years since it was first
formed. We have built up an enviable reputation for high musical
standards combined with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, attracting
fine amateur and professional players from a wide area. Programmes
are aimed to stretch the orchestra and to introduce our large and
loyal audience to less familiar repertoire whilst including some
real favourites. We have a busy season, giving three main concerts,
a childrens concert, a family concert and a joint Christmas
concert with the East Herts Chorus.
